The Majors Le Mans 24 is the 1st team race to ever take place in The Majors. 12 LMP1 teams have received, and accepted, invites and there's also around 10 LMP2s (HPDs) and GTE's. Kinetic has 2 LMP1's for the Pacific and International teams and should be competitive in both cars. One HPD - #85 - has a strong driver line-up and will be fighting for the class win. The GTE car is not really Kinetic - most of the drivers are ex-Black Adder so is called "Friends of Kinetic".

Kinetic run in all the regions most of the Europe team are only running in some events - the only regular competitor is Sylvain  Maillaud. Sylvain was recruited after the draft but has fitted well into the Kinetic team and has joined the team full time now.

Kinetic's Christian Challiner has won 3 out of the last 4 Pacific Majors races and only a disconnect when leading with 2 laps remaining at COTA prevented him from winning there as well. This has moved Christian to 4th in the Pro standings and the team to 2nd in the Constructors - getting ever closer to Alliance in 1st place.

Kinetic run in all the regions and although a full team was drafted for the Atlantic region, Eddie Hawks has been the only driver to take the opportunity to integrate into the team.

Overall, Kinetic is the biggest team in The Majors and have used the advantage of having a lot of drivers to test setups, prepare strategies etc well, winning 7 of the races so far (the next best team has only won 3).

Due to clashes for v8sonline, the International Majors Indy500 was run a week earlier than the other regions.

Kinetic dominated qualifying with the fastest 5 qualifiers all from the team - Jake, Joseph, Oliver, John & Josh. Just before the race, there was a "Fast 9" shootout to determine the grid order and Joe and Jake sealed the front row for the team, with Joe taking his 3rd pole in a row in the oval races.

Just a week after Charlotte so not much time to prepare

Sunday 20th May saw us run in the 6th round of The Majors series - a 600 mile race at Charlotte.

Although practice had gone very well, the cars was difficult to set up and drive. We opted to use setups that drove very well over a full 50 lap green flag run but that did mean compromising the pace of the car early in the runs so we needed to have a race that had long runs in it, especially at the end.

Qualifying was fantastic - Kinetic cars were 1-2-3-4-6 on the grid.

Warm-up Starting at 20.30 UTC
Qualifying at 20:50 UTC
Grid at 21.00 UTC
Venue: Nurburgring Grand Prix
Layout: BES / WEC

Date:
Saturday, May 26, 2018 - 20:30 to Sunday, May 27, 2018 - 01:00

Majors All star race at Charlotte

The race features the top 10 drivers from each region (with substitutes if drivers aren't available). Kinetic will have 6 drivers in the race, with Christian Challiner as one of the favourites to win but based on the practice sessions for the Sarges World 600 that takes places the following day, Christian should have strong support from the rest of the team.
