Round 1 of the Socks Out Racing V8 SuperTrucks Championship was a good showing for Workiva Kinetic Racing. Associate member Marco Mogren started P3, Sven Cammaerts P4, and Wade Hays P5.

Cammaerts got a good start, and jumped to P2 early. Attempts to keep pace with defending series champion Bobby Zalenski, and a mid-race battle with Torque Freak Racing's Tim Claessens, took their toll on Cammaerts' tires; dropping him to P4.

This was the 6 hour round. We've had withdraw the Mustang from the series - the drivers have got too many other commitments but both Kias were on the grid although both Bernes in 283 and John in 284 faced long nights - they were alone in the cars because Mattias was working this weekend.

The International region Daytona 500 ran a week earlier than the other regions due to conflicts in the schedule. Alex Sheridan had to sit this one out due to equipment problems (although he may run in the Pacific region this coming weekend).

Our ex-BAM team-mate now at Atlas Simsport, David Vieira gave us a setup he'd developed for Atlas for the iRacing Daytona 500's running the same week and the set was great - we were immediately running very fast times both in race trim and qualifying.

Overall, the team had a stellar weekend in the Bathurst 12 hour with all the cars running strongly.

4th February was a date the team's been looking forward to for a while - the opening round of The Majors, running the 1980's Nissan GTP and Audi GTO.

The team has main entries in 2 regions - International (aka Australia) and Pacific (West Coast USA). We also have teams with guest drivers we're hosting for the series in both those regions plus Atlantic (East Costs USA).

The International race was up 1st, with John King and Alex Sheridan running Audis and Jake Fox and MArtin Houston (one of our guest drivers) running Nissans.
